    • Reliance Games is developer and publisher of mobile games. The games have 150+ million overall downloads across Google Play, the AppStore, Amazon & Windows .The company has adopted both Freemium and Premium as their business model.They have built and released games of successful franchise. Real Steel, Real Steel: Champions, Real Steel: WRB. Pacific Rim, Hotel Transylvania, Drones: Shadow Strike and more recently Zombie: Death match and Ultimate Robot Fighting.Reliance Games has large sum of games under the fighting genre. Real Steel series and Zombie death match begin the most recent ones. The company has 200+ employees.

  • Key Personnel:

    • Mr. John Newcomer – Creative Director/Design Director 

    • John Newcomer is a veteran game designer (Ex-Midway, of the Joust fame) and visits Pune headquarters time to time. Designers across various projects communicate with in him on weekly basis. Features and design documentation is shared with him whenever possible. John Newcomer is my reporting manager. He oversees the complete design team of Reliance games.

    • Mr. Sidhartha Josephf Alva – Game Designer of Real Steel Franchise

    • Sidhartha Alva is the senior game designer in Reliance Game.I am currently working in REAL STEEL: CHAMPIONS along with him. He is in charge of multiple projects in the company. I interact with him the most on daily basis. Sidhartha Alva has immense knowledge of game systems and classic RPGs.

 

  • Work Experience

    • I was hired directly as a full time Game Designer during my final year at Rubika Supinfogame. I began working in Reliance Games from June,2015

    • I work with the live operations team for Real Steel Champions.

    • Real Steel Champions was featured organically on App Store in December, 2015 as “The Best Game of 2015 from India”. This was a result of the major reskin update the team did to the existing game.

    • Working for Reliance Games has been a journey full of revelations about the Design & Development processes.

    • I have been given large set of responsibilities and have managed to gain great control over the project and the decision making process.

    • Moving step by step with the team, running the extra mile to get tasks completed, maintaining complete control and focus on every aspect of the project has been appreciated by my fellow teammates. 

    • Complex game systems in Chinese MMOs and the methods used to build an engaging meta is what I wish to understand

  • Role: Solo Game Designer, Asset / Content Creation, Management, Unity

  • Specifics:

    • Solo game designer at the company.

    • Parallelly worked on multiple projects, Game design, Management, Art and various miscellaneous posts on 8 titles out of which 5 titles have been published

    • Guided the company on game design and production ethics specific to F2P market.

    • In charge of management of various projects, weekly updates, deciding deadlines and building foundations for right productions methods during my duration of Internship.

    • Internship report provides a detail background of my work ethics, procedures and design implementation methodologies

    • TPF Technologies is a software technology firm in New Delhi, India. The company develops smart phone protection app, Gesture based mobile applications and Casual video games. MoongLabs is a subsidiary of TPF Technologies which develops mobile games.
