Responsibilities

Primary Role:

 

Level Designer

 

  • Using BSP brushes.

  • Instructing members new to UDK about tools/functionality.

  • Following and adapting work philosophy as per various stages of level design production.

  • Producing paper level design, flow charts, level design documents listing the intentions.

  • Placement of collectibles and weapons across the levels.

  • Remove any chance of dominant level regions to minimize dominant strategy

  • Making several areas in the level equally accessible.

  • Coordinating with team members to keep an identical vision

 

Game Description

An academic project assigned to produce a level for 16-32 players using UDK capture the flag presets. The team had the chance to experience level design process through various stages of production
